Roatán Itinerary:
January 3: Arrive into Roatán in the afternoon and settle into our hotel before meeting the group for the first time. We’ll kick things off with a relaxed welcome dinner at a family-run local spot, where you’ll get your first taste of traditional Honduran food and ease into island time.
January 4: After breakfast, we head out onto the water for a full day exploring the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef by catamaran. Expect clear turquoise water, snorkeling straight off the boat, and plenty of time to relax between swims. We’ll return to shore in the late afternoon and regroup for a casual dinner together.
January 5: Today is all about seeing the island from above. We’ll start with a zipline and canopy walk through the rainforest, crossing suspension bridges and taking in views you wouldn’t get otherwise. After lunch, we slow things down with a visit to a local chocolate factory and some free time to explore before dinner at one of the island’s best homestyle Caribbean kitchens.
January 6: A more active day with options to mix things up. In the morning, we’ll head out for a kayak and snorkel experience along the coast, getting a different perspective of the reef. Later, we’ll switch gears with a horseback ride along the beach—simple, scenic, and a little unexpected. We’ll end the day with a relaxed dinner and a good meal.
January 7: We go inland today for a jungle ATV adventure, riding through forest trails and stopping along the way to see local wildlife. After lunch, we’ll head to West Bay Beach, known for its white sand and calm, clear water—perfect for swimming or just unwinding after a more adventurous morning. Dinner tonight leans a little more elevated, with a great group setting to recap the day.
January 8: A slower final day to enjoy Roatán at your own pace. We’ll spend the morning at Half Moon Bay, an easy walk from our hotel, where you can swim, relax, or just take it all in. There’s no rush—grab a casual lunch nearby and settle back in for more beach time. We’ll come together one last time in the evening for a sunset dinner to wrap up the trip.
January 9: One last breakfast together before departures. If time allows, grab a coffee nearby and soak in the final moments before heading to the airport or continuing on your own travels.
