Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Booking & Payment Terms

All bookings with Into The Wild Adventure are subject to the terms outlined below. By completing a booking, the traveler acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.

2. Deposits & Payment Plans

  • A non-refundable deposit/full payment is required to secure a spot on any retreat or trip.

  • If a payment plan is offered, all scheduled payments must be completed according to the agreed timeline.

  • Failure to complete scheduled payments may result in forfeiture of the reservation and any amounts already paid.

3. Cancellation by the Traveler

Due to the advance planning, vendor commitments, and limited capacity of our retreats, all bookings are non-refundable after 7 days from the original booking date, unless otherwise stated in writing.

Within 7 Days of Booking

  • Travelers may cancel within 7 calendar days of booking for a full refund, provided the trip is more than 120 days from the start date.

After 7 Days

  • All payments are non-refundable.

  • Travelers may transfer or resell their spot independently, subject to approval and completion of required documentation.

4. Name Changes & Transfers

  • Name changes or ticket transfers may be permitted up to 30 days prior to departure, subject to administrative approval.

  • Any fees incurred by suppliers (hotels, transportation, excursions) are the responsibility of the traveler.

  • The original traveler remains responsible until the transfer is fully completed and approved.

5. Cancellation by Into The Wild Adventure

In the unlikely event that Into The Wild Adventure must cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances (including but not limited to safety concerns, insufficient participation, or force majeure):

  • Travelers will receive a refund of payments made to Into The Wild Adventure, excluding non-recoverable third-party costs where applicable OR

  • The option to apply payments as a credit toward a future retreat.

Into The Wild Adventure is not responsible for airfare or external travel costs.

6. Trip Changes & Itinerary Adjustments

We reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments to itineraries, accommodations, or activities due to weather, safety considerations, or operational needs. Such changes do not constitute grounds for a refund.

7. Travel Insurance (Required)

We REQUIRE that all travelers purchase comprehensive third-party travel insurance to protect against unexpected changes, illness, injury, or personal emergencies.

8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By booking a trip, travelers agree to contact Into The Wild Adventure directly to resolve concerns BEFORE initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

Initiating a chargeback in violation of this policy may result in forfeiture of the reservation and exclusion from future trips.

9. Acceptance of Policy

This policy is binding upon booking. A checkbox acknowledgment is required at checkout to confirm acceptance of these terms.
