Patagonia W Trek: February 7-14, 2026

Into the Wild is a chance to take a moment for you. To dive deep into your wild woman self. To rediscover the wonder and beauty of both earth’s nature and YOUR nature. To gain the experience of hiking in one of the most unique landscapes in the world, learning about Patagonia, seeing lots of wildlife, and enjoying it all with other adventurous women.

Come unite in Torres del Paine national Park, Patagonia with other women who are ready for an experience of a lifetime. This will be Into the Wild’s first trip to Patagonia, and it’s been in the works for quite some time! We have been trying to create the perfect hiking trip for those who want to do the famous W Trek, but don’t want to camp in a tent every night.

So- here we have it- a GLAMPING version of the gorgeous W Trek! This itinerary allows you to experience the W trek without having to carry a very heavy pack. All of the preperation and meal preperation is done for you, leaving you to focus on the sights and experiences unique to Torres Del Paine National Park.

This trip is designed to help you rediscover you. As this is a moderate to advanced hiking trip, we ask that you be in moderate hiking shape by November 2025 so that you can handle the terrain described in the itinerary. If you are currently not a hiker, I do believe you can get ready in time to do this amazing experience.

This retreat is for you, and women like you. Come as you are and leave as your best self.

Below is a LOT of information on what you come away with from this retreat. Please read it thoroughly so that you know exactly what to expect.

Join us and rediscover your wild woman!

About this W-Trek Experience:

This version of the W Trek is designed to attract all kinds of badass hikers! The route we take allows us to see the best of all of the best views and segments of the W Trek without camping every night and without having to carry heavy packs.

Instead of camping every night (there is only one night of tent camping, and the camp will be all set up for you- you have to do nothing, not even cook or bring the camping equipment), you’ll spend 4 of 5 nights in the park in a beautiful lodge with warm and cozy domes with twin beds. See pictures of the lodge below!

You’ll mostly hike and return to the dome lodges every night (except the one night of camping on night 2). You’ll leave your luggage and things not needed for the trek in the domes in order to carry as little as possible!

Please Note:

There is no mobile/cell phone signal in Torres del Paine and very limited WIFI available during your time in the park. Plan on no communication with home at all during these 5 days in the park, but know there are ways to contact your families in an emergency if needed.

We will stay in a warm and cozy domes with shared bathrooms, and there are some wonderful communal domes to socialize and eat, and where guides will brief us on our trek.

For meals at the dome lodge, expect a colorful array of juice, muffins, granola, yoghurt, fruit, eggs and more! You’ll enjoy this all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet each morning. We will prepare our lunches from a selection of sandwich fillings, salads, fruit and trail snacks. (If you have dietary needs or allergies please check with Wendy at wendy@itwadventure before booking. Pre-approved dietary needs are gluten free, vegetarian and dairy free diets.)

Dinner is a three-course meal, always new and experimental. We will order our evening meals from a few choices each the morning before you head off on hikes.

This is where we are staying for 4 of 5 nights. Isn’t it gorgeous?

As mentioned, we will stay one night in tents at Rifugio Paine Grande. The refugio has pre-pitched tents where we will spend the night with an occupancy of two people per tent.

There are hot showers in the refugios which are for our use and are generally cleanest and hottest earlier in the afternoon,

You will be served a simple but nutritious evening meal and breakfast inside the refugio canteen. These are generally basic meals which are different from those served at the dome lodge.

You will be given a box lunch by the refugios that you will carry with you in your day pack for the day.

IMPORTANT NOTE: tHIS RETREAT WILL INVOLVE WILD ADVENTURES. WE ASK THAT YOU BE OPEN TO NEW PEOPLE AND NEW EXPERIENCES. iF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS AT ALL ABOUT WHAT THIS MEANS, JUST ASK! wendy@itwadventure.COM

Itinerary

February 7th: Arrive in Puerto Nalates, Chile. You can arrive any time this day- just pick the best flight, most likely from Santiago. If you’re in town by dinner, that’s perfect, because that is our first group activity! This is mostly a meetup day, and there is nothing else official going on, so if you arrive in the morning you can leave your luggage at the hotel and wander, or rest, or whatever you want! Your ride from the airport will be arranged by Into the Wild if you arrive February 7th. Puerto Natales is a small town. There’s not a ton to do there, so you don’t really need to arrive early for sightseeing- what this trip offers is plenty for Puerto Natales. You can consider, however, adding another city like Santiago to your days beforehand if you want to break up the travel.

February 8th: All women should now be in Puerto Natales. We will have breakfast and head out for a half day horseback ride. We’ll have lunch, then explore the small town of Puerto Natales. Dinner, rest up!

February 9th: Breakfast, and then our guides will pick us up and take us to Torres del Paine National Park! We will drive for a couple of hours and arrive at our nature domes, which we will stay in for 4 nights. We will acquaint ourselves with the area and enjoy the beauty. We can hang out and get to know each other in the communal domes and enjoy dinner together!

February 10: Breakfast, then make our packed lunches- because the W-Trek starts today! You’ll leave your luggage that isn’t needed at the hotel. We will drive for a bit and then board the catamaran boat at Lake Pehoé. The short boat ride takes you to Paine Grande refugio where we will leave your overnight items before beginning to hike. We’ll begin the challenging yet rewarding trek into the French Valley. The views and peaks here are absolutely stunning! Tonight is the only night we will be sleeping in tents (already set up and arranged for us) at Refugio Paine Grande. The Refugio is nice and cosy and we can enjoy a drink at the bar and eat in the refugio before retiring to our tents for the night.

Length of hike - 10 hours, 26km/16 miles

February 11: Today we’ll hike from Refugio Paine Grande along the shore of Lake Pehoé to the northern side of the Lake Grey. Here we’ll enjoy a picnic lunch before taking a boat trip to the huge facade of Glacier Grey and onwards to the southern end of Lake Grey. After today’s hike, we will return to the domes resort for sleeping and socializing in the lodge.

Length of hike - 4 hours, 11km/6.8 miles

February 12: After breakfast and packing a lunch we will depart from our domes on foot, hiking 1km to the entrance of the Ascenio Valley. We will hike uphill all the way to the towers viewpoint, mainly on a gorgeous forest path. At the end you'll climb the steep moraine (a huge mass of boulders which may require scrambling) which leads you to the base of the Towers. Here we’ll stop at probably the best lunch spot in the world! After soaking up the view, we’ll backtrack along the same trail through the Ascencio Valley and return to the domes for a well-deserved dinner. This day completes the modified W Trek!

Length of hike - 9 hours, 22km/13.6 miles

February 13: We get one extra day at our domes resort to do a day hike (up to 10 miles) in the area and relax and enjoy the scenery one last day. The day hike will be optional, you’re more than welcome to chill at the resort and do nothing or read, whatever floats your boat! The point is to enjoy one of the most beautiful places in the world for one more day.

February 14: We will eat breakfast and prepare a box lunch, then be driven back to Puerto Natales. We have one more night together here in Puerto Natales before we scatter! You can choose to go home from here via Santiago, or extend your trip in any way.  In fact, if you are thinking about extending your Patagonia trip to another area, you can even get a ride to Punta Arenas or elsewhere to continue on. We will have one last delicious dinner together.

February 15: Breakfast, then everyone heads separate ways. Into the Wild will provide you a ride back to the airport that morning. You can choose to go home from here via Santiago, or extend your trip in any way.  In fact, if you are thinking about extending your Patagonia trip to another area, you can even get a ride to Punta Arenas on the 13th (skipping the last official trip day) or elsewhere to continue on.

ALL domes are SHARED domes. There will be no shared beds, only domes.
