Mexico City, foodie edition! March 4-10, 2026

 

this Into the Wild foodie edition is a chance to take a moment for you. To dive deep into the cuisine of Mexico. To enjoy the gastronomy Mexico City has to offer, explore a beautiful city safely, and bond over food and awesome sights with other women.

Come unite over food in awesome Mexico City! Experience all this giant and wonderful city has to offer with other women who delight in food and culinary experiences.

Do you have an interest in other cultures and their cuisine? Whether it be snacks, meals, finger foods, tacos, churros, tequila- we will be exploring it all together! Additionally we will be adventuring out to see some sights in and around Mexico City to further delve into the culture.

Below is the information on what you will experience on this retreat.

Cost for Mexico City is $2399 per person for 6 nights. All breakfasts, lunches and dinners and transportation during the retreat is included, and rooms are shared occupancy. You just need to get yourself to Mexico City and back. Shuttles will be arranged from the airport to the accommodation, and back.

Please arrive in Mexico City after 12pm.

 

Who:

Women. From anywhere. Women who need a unique culinary adventure. Women who want to learn and discover. Women who want to uncover or rediscover themselves by exploring another culture.

Why:

When is the last time you enjoyed a week for yourself? To really enjoy new friends, to relax, and to feel the inner peace that can be buried with life?

When:

March 4-10, 2026. You DO NOT want to miss this. You will fly in on Wednesday the 4th between 12-4pm ideally, and fly out on Tuesday afternoon the 10th anytime after 8 am if possible.

What:

A women’s retreat built to help you rediscover you, your passions, and this beautiful earth you live on. An experience that will make you feel full, youthful and adventurous. A bonding experience not to be missed.

We will explore the best parts of the city together. Learn about Mexico’s history in relation to food. See museums, interact with locals, and generally just have a blast!

IMPORTANT NOTE: to make this retreat the best for everyone, I need to unify the group as far as dietary restrictions. Ideally, all in attendance will be meat eaters or vegetarians, but please be aware that vegetarians, celiacs, and dairy free women may have to skip some things on the food tours.

Mexico Foodie Itinerary 2026

March 4: Arrival and check into accommodations. You’ll be treated to your first fine dining experience in Mexico City! Rest up.

March 5: Explore the Zocalo, including the Palacio Bellas Artes, Templo Mayor. We will do a food tour for dinner!

March 6: Adventuring day to Teotihuacan Ruins! We will wake early and spend half of the day here and ride the hot air baloons, have a few free hours of free time upon returning to the hotel, and then go see some Friday Nigh Lucha Libre and eat tacos!

March 7: Foodie Day! We will visit a Panadaria for breakfast, explore the San Juan Market, taste tequila if you’re into it, and relax later on in the day.

March 8: Adventuring to Coyoacan, which is where Frida Kahlo lived at Casa Azul. It’s a charming area that yes, also has great food opportunities. We will tour and snack our way through the day, finishing with another delicious dinner.

March 9: Today we will do a trip to the hot springs followed by a very enjoyable and fun cooking class.

March 10: breakfast, then the retreat is over. Goodbye, Foodies!


 
 


 

A reminder: your expenses are all paid, except your flights to and from Mexico City from your home. We cover lodging, activities, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, transport, etc! All rooms are shared occupancy. No private rooms are available.

Into The Wild is now requiring its trip attendees to provide proof of travel insurance purchase for this trip.
