This Into the Wild Adventure trip to Copenhagen and Amsterdam is the perfect blend of culture, history, great food, charming neighborhoods, and easy-going European adventure. In one unforgettable week, you’ll experience two of Northern Europe’s most beloved cities, from the colorful waterfronts and cozy cafés of Denmark to the canals, historic streets, and vibrant culture of the Netherlands.

Copenhagen and Amsterdam have a way of making everyday life feel a little more enjoyable. People spend time outdoors, linger over meals, ride bicycles through beautiful neighborhoods, and prioritize the simple pleasures that make travel so rewarding. And that is exactly what this Into the Wild trip is all about. Mornings start at decent times,, afternoons are spent exploring historic cities and hidden corners, and evenings end with incredible food, waterfront views, and great conversation.

We’ll explore the colorful streets and canals of Copenhagen, visit historic castles along the Danish coast, and spend time at one of Europe’s most celebrated art museums overlooking the sea. Then we’ll head to Amsterdam, where we’ll cruise the city’s iconic canals, wander through charming neighborhoods, discover the Dutch countryside, visit traditional villages and windmills, and experience the unique atmosphere that has made Amsterdam one of Europe’s most fascinating destinations.

This trip is designed for women who love culture, beautiful cities, great food, meaningful experiences, and the joy of discovering a destination with a wonderful group of fellow travelers. All lodging, food, and transportation during the retreat is included, and on this trip, you can choose to pay an extra $1,100 for your own room, or take on a new friend as a roomie (or bring your own!). You just need to get yourself to Copenhagen, and back home again from Amsterdam!

June 16: Welcome to Denmark! Arrive in Copenhagen and settle into the hotel before meeting your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner. Depending on arrival times, you may choose to stroll through the colorful waterfront district, explore nearby cafés, or simply relax and settle into one of Europe’s most charming cities.

June 17: Today we’ll dive into Copenhagen’s highlights with a guided tour of the city. We’ll explore historic squares, royal landmarks, picturesque canals, and the colorful harbor that has become one of Denmark’s most recognizable sights. Along the way, we’ll enjoy plenty of opportunities to sample local specialties and experience the relaxed atmosphere that makes Copenhagen so easy to love. The afternoon is free for shopping, museum visits, or simply enjoying the city’s café culture before dinner together.

June 18: This morning we’ll venture outside the city to visit Kronborg Castle, famously known as the setting for Hamlet. Perched on the coast overlooking the sea, the castle offers fascinating history and beautiful views. Later, we’ll continue to the renowned Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, where world-class art, sculpture gardens, and stunning coastal scenery come together in one unforgettable setting. We’ll return to Copenhagen for our final evening in Denmark.

June 19: Enjoy a relaxed morning before we make our way to Amsterdam. After checking into our hotel, we’ll head out to begin exploring the city’s famous canals, historic architecture, and lively neighborhoods. This evening we’ll enjoy dinner together while soaking up the atmosphere of one of Europe’s most vibrant cities.

June 20: Today we’ll discover Amsterdam through its waterways and historic districts. A canal cruise offers a unique perspective on the city before we explore the charming Jordaan neighborhood, known for its cafés, boutiques, galleries, and hidden courtyards. The afternoon includes time to visit museums, browse local shops, or simply enjoy the city’s laid-back atmosphere. Tonight, we’ll experience Amsterdam’s excellent dining scene together.

June 21: Today we’ll explore the Dutch countryside. We’ll visit traditional villages, see iconic windmills, and learn about the history and culture that have shaped the Netherlands for centuries. Along the way we’ll enjoy local foods, beautiful scenery, and a slower pace than the city. Returning to Amsterdam in the afternoon, you’ll have free time for last-minute shopping, museum visits, or relaxing along the canals before our farewell dinner.

June 22: After breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to Denmark and the Netherlands. Departures begin today as we head home with wonderful memories of canals, castles, historic cities, incredible food, and a fantastic week spent exploring two of Northern Europe’s most beloved destinations.
