Azores Adventure: October 6-12, 2026

Into the Wild is a chance to take a moment for you. To dive deep into your wild woman self. To rediscover the wonder and beauty of both earth’s nature and YOUR nature. To gain the experience of hiking around gorgeous craters and lakes on this volcanic island, enjoying natural hot springs and beaches, gorgeous mountain scenes mixed with craggy beach shores, and a wonderful different culture with other women.

Come unite in the Azores islands of Portugal with other women who are ready for an experience of a lifetime. Where are the Azores? Well, they are about halfway from the east coast of the USA and Portugal. This will be Into the Wild’s first trip to the island of Sao Miguel, Azores! Sao Miguel is renowned for its stunning natural beauty, featuring lush green landscapes, volcanic craters, and picturesque lades like Sete Cidades and Lagoa do Fogo. The island’s geothermal springs, rich biodiversity, and charming towns offer a blend of adventure, relaxation, and cultural experiences, making it a captivating destination for nature lovers and explorers alike.

This trip is designed to help you rediscover you. As this is an adventurous (anyone can enjoy these adventures, all are beginner friendly) and somewhat a hiking retreat, we ask that you be in good walking shape or moderate hiking shape by August 2026 so that you can enjoy the adventures.

Happily, airlines (United especially) now fly from the USA directly to the Azores islands (Sao Miguel), cutting out the need to fly to Portugal first. So awesome!

Come join Taryn of @rooted wild and 14 other women on this very fun adventure! Below is the information on what you come away with from this retreat. Join us and rediscover your wild woman!

Cost for this Azores Adventure is $2550 per person for 6 nights. All lodging, food, and transportation during the retreat is included, and rooms are shared occupancy unless you pay the single room supplement (find it in on the register page). You just need to get yourself to Sao Miguel, Azores and back home again!
