Vietnam and Cambodia, November 3-12, 2023

Welcome to Vietnam and Cambodia! Come unite in stunning countries in this beautiful, wild earth, and join me as we take in the beauty and embark on adventures throughout the cities and countryside of Southeast Asia! This is not technically a photo retreat, but you can always ask me any questions or for tips throughout on how to capture the intense beauty of these locations.

Cost for this retreat is $2399 per person for 10 nights. All lodging, most transportation (read below), and all meals and excursions during the retreat are included, and rooms are shared occupancy. As this retreat is a bit different in key aspects, please read below for details:

  1. You will fly into Hanoi, Vietnam to meet up with the group. We start the retreat on November 3rd, but you may fly in earlier if desired to rest before we begin.

  2. Unlike other retreats I have offered, this does not begin and end in the same place, or same airports. We begin in Hanoi, Vietnam and we will end in Phnom Penh. Should you desire to get a round trip ticket to Hanoi, you will fly out of Hanoi on the 13th of November and be responsible for your own travel from Phnom Penh, Cambodia to Hanoi, Vietnam on the 13th (or whenever you decide to leave).

  3. This retreat ends on the 12th of November at bedtime. You are responsible for your transport on the 13th of November to the airport or wherever your destination is. (This is so that people who are extending their trip can do so easily.)

Who:

Women. From anywhere. Women who need a break from their normal life to feel wild and wonderful again. Women who want to learn, adventure, and discover. Women who want to uncover or rediscover themselves.

Why:

When is the last time you enjoyed 10 days to yourself? To develop the inner you and to have that old feeling of excitement, discovery and adrenaline again?

When:

November 3-12, 2023. You DO NOT want to miss this. Fly in to the Hanoi, Vietnam airport on the 3rd or earlier. Meet up with us on the 3rd, whenever your flight lands is great. Fly home on the 13th, either from Phnom Penh, Cambodia, or from Hanoi (please read above for details on how to make your ticket a round trip if desired, and note that you will need to get yourself to Hanoi).

What:

A women’s retreat built to help you rediscover you, your passions, and this beautiful earth you live on. An experience that will make you feel like yourself again. A bonding experience not to be missed.

This is a chance to discover a region of the earth with other women in safety. It’s often not easy to find travel companions who want an adventure like you do.

We will be traveling around quite a bit, so pack lightly! During our adventures we will sail, hike, bike, kayak, and do a lot of walking. Please be sure you can do all these activities (with a positive attitude). We will Create unforgettable memories, together, of course- which will fill our souls with the desire to return home as better women.

COVID-19 disclaimer: there will be no refunds due to pandemics or illness. In severe, unforseen circumstances determined by the retreat hosts, we will opt to postpone the retreat for an agreed upon time in 2023 or 2024.

If you are uncomfortable with travel during these uncertain times, we suggest that you wait until you feel more certainty to be wild with us :)

Other refund policy: Your ticket can be sold but not refunded. You can advertise to sell your ticket yourself, and we will post it on our instagram as well, should you not be able to attend.

 

All rooms are shared occupancy. No private rooms are available. This is key to the Into the Wild experience.

these are the activities we have planned during the 10 days:

November 3: Arrive in Hanoi. Activity #1 TBA for those who arrive in the morning or day. Rest, sleep. Stay in Hanoi.

November 4:  Ninh Binh day: visit Tam Coc and Van Long for scenic limestone hills which are dotted amongst emerald green rice paddies.  Hike (4 hours, lots of uphill) Silver Cloud Peak in Cuc Phuong National Park. Stay in Hanoi overnight.

November 5: Halong Bay, with stay overnight on a luxury boat. Kayaking among the karst landscape.

November 6: Travel to Ho Chi Minh by plane, stay 2 nights. This day is  all about seeing the city and eating copious amounts of food. (Motorbikes/scooters  and walking will be our transport)

November 7: Tour the Chi Chi tunnels and Mekong Delta.

November 8th: Morning flight to Siem Reap. Visit Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. In the evening we will visit a Cambodian performance- not to be missed.

November 9th: Return to Angkor Wat for sunrise and more exploration. Transfer to Phnom Penh.

November 10th: Morning tour of Killing Fields (this can be intensely emotional, so it’s optional of course, but important for realizing Cambodia’s true history) followed by bike tour through small Cambodian villages, rice paddies and food. Spa treatments at night and Dinner in the Dark (a tribute to those who are blind in Cambodia)

November 11: 4 hour bus ride for a beach day at Koh Rong with lots of beach adventures plus relaxation.

November 12: One more beach day, evening transport back to Phnom Penh for flight home the next day.  Into the Wild is officially over at bed time, and you can either fly home from Phnom Penh on the 13th, or get your own transfer back to Hanoi so you can do a round trip ticket from home.

A reminder: your expenses for this retreat exclude flights to and from Southeast Asia, but do include all breakfasts and lunches, and dinners. We cover lodging, activities, transport, etc! this retreat includes a few hopper flights.

 
 
 
 

Women often learn and relax better through experiences with other inspiring women. This retreat is only for women and will be filled with warm, open, inviting leaders and attendees, who are all ready and waiting for a creative, immersive, life-changing experience.

Things to note:

  • Cambodia and Vietnam require that you be fully vaccinated.

  • You’ll need to apply for a Visa, which is easy and I will help you do this. (If you’re not a citizen of USA, please read up on Visas for these two countries from your own country.)

  • Please be an adventurous eater. The food here is incredible, and we will be eating at street vendors to luxury restaurants.

  • This trip will have extreme temps. It WILL be very hot. And humid. It will be worth it.

  • As mentioned above, please make sure you are in the physical condition to do the activities planned with the group.

  • Please pack lightly. Consider your main luggage to be about 42L size, and bring a small carry-on.
