We will be exploring Istanbul, full of vibrancy and culture, and also experiencing the stunning yet adventurous offerings that the Cappadocia region has to offer. We offer many types of activities within this retreat as we travel around.

Below is the information on what you come away with from this retreat.

Cost for this retreat is $2599 for 6 nights and leaving on the 7th day. All lodging, food, (minus cocktails and alcohol) and transportation during the retreat is included (except snacks, souvenirs, and drinks/alcohol), and all rooms are shared double rooms. You just need to get yourselves to Istsanbul (IST) International Airport and back. This retreat fee includes a round trip ticket to and from the Cappadocia region that Into the Wild will be purchasing on your behalf.

If you try this exact trip by yourself without Into the Wild as your guide, you’ll have a blast BUT you’ll end up paying a lot more :). Plus- I know the guides and people that get us the best experience.

When:

March 29-April 4, 2024. You DO NOT want to miss this. You will fly in and out of Istanbul (IST) International Airport , arriving anytime on March 29th after noon, and leaving ideally before noon on April 4th, 2024. Just ask Wendy if you have any questions about flights.

We will explore together. Roam through tiny streets in the bazaar, hike across a gorgeous canyon, take the world’s most scenic hot air balloon ride (optional, of course), and more!

TURKEY WOMEN’S TRIP ITINERARY

March 29th:  Fly into Istanbul. Your ride from the airport to the hotel is provided by Into the Wild. Meet up at hotel at 6pm for dinner, then rest up for a busy and fun week!

March 30th: Today will be spent seeing Istanbul’s greatest hits. We’ll go on a guided tour of the Grand Bazaar, see the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia Mosque. Additionally- we’ll have some delicious food (this whole week will be full of delicious food!)

March 31st: Short flight to the Kayseri airport in the Cappadocia region. We’ll settle into our awesome Cave hotel, enjoy lunch and the surrounding sights, and go for an exciting ATV ride at sunset.

April 1st: Today is our hot air balloon tour, sure to knock your socks off with the beauty. Later, we will visit the Goreme Open Air Museum.

April 2nd: Day trip to the Ilhara Valley by van. We’ll stop to visit the Derinkuyu Underground City, do an easy-moderate hike up to 7k, and finally drive to Lake Tuz (a pink lake!) to watch an incredible sunset.

April 3rd:  Day trip to Pigeon Valley. We’ll explore Uchisar Castle, possible second hike depending on how people are feeling, then head to Avanos to spend afternoon/evening. Avanos is known for its pottery, scenery such as the Avanos drawbridge, and it incredible food.

April 4th: Today is departure day. First, we will fly back to Istanbul Airport(IST) in the morning, arriving by noon. This is when the retreat is officially over. If you’d like, you can book your trip out of Istanbul for 3pm or later, or you can choose to stay one or more nights.

There will be no refunds due to pandemics or illness. In severe, unforseen circumstances determined by the retreat host, we will opt to postpone the retreat for an agreed upon time in 2025.

If you are uncomfortable with travel during these uncertain times, we suggest that you wait until you feel more certainty to be wild with us :)

Other refund policy: Your ticket can be sold but not refunded. You can advertise to sell your ticket yourself, and we will post it on our instagram as well, should you not be able to attend.
