Rwanda: January 30-February 6, 2025

Into the Wild rwanda is a unique chance to have a wild time with other amazing women, experience new culture, see amazing wildlife and connect with the outdoors in a major way. the amount of rare animals we will see is mind blowing- a wild time, indeed!

I’m guessing Rwanda isn’t on your bucket list. But I’m here to say: it should be!

After a very devastating and dangerous time in history, Rwanda’s tourism game is now absolutely amazing! The country is welcoming, safe, clean, and teeming with adventures and beauty. Into the Wild is ready to take you on a trip of a lifetime to Rwanda- one you don’t want to miss.

At $4300, you really cannot do this kind of adventurous, educational and exotic trip at a better price. All transport (except flights to and from Kigali, Rwanda), meals and activities are included! Leave it to Into the Wild to provide you with the BEST possible experience without you having to do any of the research.

Imagine having the time of your life, without having to do any planning, booking, or arranging? Experiences you don’t have to lift a finger for or plan? Gorilla Trekking, Chimpanzee trekking, and a safari day where you’ll see Africa’s Big 5 Game! IMAGINE!

This retreat is for the woman interested in maximum fun/adventure in a completely safe African country. We will combine adventure with learning and send you home feeling amazing. I am a firm believer that fun and adventure is key to a fulfilling and happy life.

Below is the information on what you come away with from this retreat.

Cost for Rwanda is $4300 for 7 nights. (You’ll need to stay an 8th night most likely, self funded and not part of the retreat, before catching a flight home from Kigali.) All lodging, food, and transportation during the retreat is included except snacks, souvenirs and alcohol. You will need to get yourselves to the airport in Kigali, Rwanda and back.

Here are the fine details of this trip. VERY important to read these things!

  1. Each participant is responsible for contacting their local health department to find out which vaccinations are needed/advised for visiting Rwanda.

  2. Our lodgings will vary a lot, and they will be different than most Into the Wild retreats. We will be moving hotels/lodgings every night except one, so please be ready to pack lightly and move frequently. This is a real adventure!

  3. You will need to purchase a Visa upon arriving in Rwanda, an e-visa.

  4. This is a road trip. Total time driving in the car will be about 16-18 hours.

  5. You MUST be physically fit. Gorilla trekking can be difficult hiking- it really depends on where the gorillas are on any particular day. Please be able to hike at least 6 miles and climb about 1500ft in a hike.

  6. For this adventure, I’d like anyone who signs up to be really, really flexible about schedules and able to endure long days. This trip is not for the weary of heart as we are packing a LOT of activities, travel, and new experiences.

  7. Car sick folks may have a rough time on this trip. The roads are curvy. If you are a car sick prone person, please have a plan figured out beforehand as to how to fight the carsickness! I personally use Zofran and it works wonders.
