While this is not technically a photo retreat, you’ll still be able to capture lots of beauty in Costa Rica and ask me any questions about photography. The wildlife in Costa Rica is absolutely terrific and there is so much to see and photograph!

Below is the information on what you come away with from this retreat.
Cost for Costa Rica is $2499 for 6 nights. All lodging, food, and transportation during the retreat is included except snacks and souvenirs and alcohol. All rooms are double occupancy. You will need to get yourselves to the airport in San Jose, Costa Rica and back. Shuttles will be arranged for all other travel by Into the Wild.

Time is rare for women to get out and have a wild outdoor adventure without having to worry about any details.

When:
January 25-31, 2024. You DO NOT want to miss this. You will fly into San Jose airport on Thursday, January 25 after 2pm if possible, and fly out on Wednesday morning the 31st.
What:
A retreat combined with absolute adventure. This trip’s purpose is to bring wildness and an appreciation for nature and other cultures back into your life. A bonding experience for outdoorsy women that is not to be missed.
We will hike together. Relax on catamarans and beaches and white water raft together. Enjoy Hot Springs. Canyoneer down waterfalls. Zip line across canopies! And we will create unforgettable memories, together, of course.

Refunds: Your ticket can be sold but not refunded. This is because of the nature of retreat planning.
COVID-19 disclaimer: there will be no refunds due to pandemics or illness. In severe, unforseen circumstances determined by the retreat hosts, we will opt to postpone the retreat for an agreed upon time in 2024 or 2025 so that no funds are lost.
If you are uncomfortable with travel during these uncertain times, we suggest that you wait until you feel more certainty to be wild with us :)
HERE IS A GENERAL ITINERARY OF THE TRIP (GET READY FOR EXCITEMENT!) SUBJECT TO CHANGES/SHUFFLING ACTIVITIES AROUND
Day 1: Arrive in Costa Rica and catch hotel transport to Hilton DoubleTree Cariari Hotel.
Day 2: Whitewater Rafting all day, then travel to Arenal/La Fortuna area. We will stay in this area for 2 nights.
Day 3: Canyoneering through rivers and waterfalls, Zipline and Hanging Bridges outing
Day 4: Hot Springs, then travel from the Arenal/La Fortuna area to Manuel Antonio area
Day 5: hiking, beach day, wildlife viewing, sunset snorkel and catamaran sailing
Day 6: Beach day (including surfing lessons), then travel back to San Jose.
Day 7: Head to the airport for departure!
