Gluten free in Paris, Venice and Florence: May 21-28, 2025
Attention all celiacs and gluten free eaters! This version of Into the Wild is your unique chance to take a moment for you. to experience three gorgeous and historical cities without worry about what or where you are going to eat. To dive deep into your wild woman self. To rediscover the wonder and beauty of both earth’s nature and cultures.
Come unite in three of the most beatiful cities in Europe: Paris, Venice and Florence! This is your chance to sightsee and explore without having to do the work of finding GF eateries or having to stress about your next meal. As a celiac myself, I (Wendy) definitely know the difficulties of vacationing while being gluten free. On this trip, I’m taking all the stress and worry away from you! All you have to do is follow our itinerary and have a great time with other awesome women who are also gluten free.

Cost for the gluten free tour of Paris, Venice and Florence is $3499 per person for 7 nights. This price includes All lodging, all food, and all transportation during the retreat including a flight to Venice, a train to Florence, and a flight back to Paris from Florence (if desired, read below). All hotel rooms are shared occupancy. You just need to get yourself to Paris, France and back- unless you want to do an open jaw option (In this case you need to get yourself to Paris on the 21st and back home from Florence on the 28th). Shuttles will be arranged from the airport and back by Into the Wild.

Celiacs and gluten free women. Women with a passion for travel, culture and new experiences. Women who want to learn and discover. Women who want to uncover or rediscover themselves. This trip is best for the GF eater, but not at all ideal for vegans.

When:
May 21-28th, 2025. You DO NOT want to miss this. You will fly into Paris on May 21st ideally from 12-3pm, and fly out on the 28th of May from Paris after 3pm, UNLESS you want to extend your trip on your own OR unless you want to leave from Florence on the 21st. This option allows you to skip travel back to Paris. Both options exist because some people will want to make a round trip ticket from Paris, and some people may want to extend their trip or not have a round trip ticket.

IMPORTANT NOTE: tHIS RETREAT WILL INVOLVE a lot of walking, subways, trains, planes etc. We will be moving hotels 3 times every 2 or so days! wE ENCOURAGE ALL WHO ATTEND TO BE READY FOR long city walks up to10 miles a day (usually less because we use the metro). iF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS AT ALL , JUST ASK! wendy@intothewildphotocamp.com

Life is stressful. Eating gluten free can be so much work. Let Into the Wild do all the planning for you so that you can just show up and enjoy!
all rooms are shared, but you won’t have to share a bed. Additionally, we will be moving accommodation every other day, keep that in mind!
Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive in Paris from 12-3pm ideally. Head to hotel, rest a bit and then go to our first completely gluten free dinner at Kapunka. Take the Metro to the Eiffel Tower to see it at night. Rest up for a full day in Paris tomorrow.
Day 2: Bakery breakfast! Copains gets rave reviews from all gluten free Paris lovers. We will head to one of two museums, either the Louvre or Musee d’Orsay. We can split the group in two if we can’t come to an agreement- no problem! Meet up for lunch at Boulangerie Chambelland. Head to Versailles for an afternoon tour of the palace and gardens. Head straight to La Nonna for dinner.
Day 3: Wendy will provide you with a bakery breakfast to go. Hop on a plane to Venice. Upon arrival, enjoy roaming Venice and seeing the top sights as we eat GF gelato, and stuff our faves with delicious GF pizza. Roam more of Venice and fall into bed.
Day 4: Breakfast at Niki Bar, then off to see Doges Palace and St. Mark’s Basilica. Midday we will have GF pasta and pizza at Trattoria Agli Artisti. Grom gelato afterwards if we can fit it in our bellies. Finish our day with a canal ride in a gondola and once again fall into bed.
Day 5: We will enjoy a delicious breakfast a Brunch Cafe and then hop a train to Florence! When we arrive we will have a snack and then tour the Duomo. Di Firenze. Dinner will be at Osteria dello Sgrano for pasta and their other delectable dishes.
Day 6: Breakfast at Bottega Artigiana Del Gusto, then visit The Piazzale Michelangelo, Giarino delle Rose, see the Ponte Vecchio and wander the Arno River. Lunch at Sgrano.
Day 7: Our last delicious bakery breakfast in Florence, then we are either heading back to Paris via plane (to make your flights Round Trip) OR you can book your return flight home from Florence. This choice is up to you. Those going back to Paris with me, you can book your return flight after 3pm from CDG airport. You can also make the choice to stay on more night in Paris on your own (or more) before returning home!
Our gluten free eating is going to be spectacular! Some eateries will be 100% gluten free but some are not- but ALL are deemed safe for celiacs. However, only you can truly know how you react to cross contamination- if you are very very sensitive, please get in touch with me before booking. Thank you!
